The shape of a sideways figure eight has a long pedigree; for instance, it appears in the cross of Saint Boniface, wrapped around the bars of a Latin cross. In modern mysticism, the infinity or eternity symbol has become identified with a variation of the ouroboros, an ancient image of a snake eating its own tail that has also come to symbolize the infinite, and the ouroboros is sometimes drawn in the figure-eight form to reflect this identification—rather than in its more traditional circular form.
The well-known shape and meaning of the infinity symbol have made it a common typographic element of graphic design. A rainbow-coloured infinity symbol is also used by the neurodiversity movement.
Bangles are usually circular in shape, and, unlike bracelets, are not often flexible. They are made of numerous precious as well as non-precious materials such as Gold, Silver, Platinum, glass, wood, ferrous metals, plastic, etc. A special type of bangle is worn by women and girls, especially in the Bengal area, commonly known as a "Bengali bangle", which is used as a substitute for a costly gold bangle, and is produced by fixing a thin gold strip (weighing between 1–3 g) is thermo-mechanically fused onto a bronze bangle, followed by manual crafting on that fused gold strip.
There are a few key features of Cubic Zirconia that distinguish it from Diamond:
Hardness. This causes sharp edges to facets in cut crystals to dull and rounds off in CZ, while with Diamond the edges remain sharp.
Cut: Cubic Zirconia gemstones may be cut differently from Diamonds. The facet edges can be rounded or "smooth".
Colour: A Cubic Zirconia is often entirely colourless: equivalent to a perfect "D" on Diamond's colour grading scale.
Thermal conductivity: Cubic Zirconia is a thermal insulator whereas Diamond is the most powerful thermal conductor. This is the way most Diamond testers work; by testing thermal conductivity.
When shopping for hollow jewellery, there are, as always, some cons to keep in mind, too. First and most importantly, thin-walled hollow jewellery dents if not treated with care. Hollow pieces also just don’t last as long as a solid version of the same item. Some hollow jewellery is thick enough to be repaired without risk or damage, but some simply cannot. So take good care of it, and be aware it is not advisable to wear hollow pieces daily.
