Now the boring but necessary part:

Customs and import taxes

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Delays due to customs are outside my control.

I gladly accept returns and exchanges

UK: Contact me within 14 days of delivery

Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery

US customers - if I have not heard from you regarding a return within the first 14 days of receipt, the sale will be deemed final.

EU customers - you have 30 days to return an item before it is deemed a final sale.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Buyers are responsible for return postal costs, using a properly secure and insured postal method. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Breakages and repairs

Antique jewellery should be worn with care. This isn't to say you should be worried about wearing it or hiding it away, but please be aware that damage and breakages can occur as these pieces are over a hundred years old. Vintage pieces are over twenty years old.

Christine Alexander will deal with any breakages or repairs for 30 calendar days after the item has been received by the buyer. After this time, any breakages or repairs become the buyer's responsibility. I am happy to advise and refer you to reputable experts in antique jewellery repairs, or you may use my in-house repair service at a fair negotiated cost.
