These Sterling Silver Crimp Tubes are durable and provide a secure finish on strung designs. Crimp beads are short, thin-walled tube beads that are ideal for securing wire and cord without having to tie knots. The wire goes through the bead, then through the clasp (or other finding), and back through the bead. We recommend using crimping pliers to flatten and fold the tube onto the wire snugly without crushing it. The inside diameter of the tube should accommodate at least two thicknesses of the cord/wire you will be using, and more if you will be working with double or triple strands. These crimp tubes measure approximately 1.0mm in length and have an inside diameter of 0.8mm.
