This is a beautiful antique Silver watch fob medal, presented in 1911 to a certain G. Stout by the enigmatically titled “B. S. M. W. C. C.”

Now, what does that stand for? Cricket club? Chess club? A particularly exclusive Edwardian society of people who enjoyed very stern tea? I wish I could tell you. I have Googled. I have squinted. I have sighed dramatically. And yet — the mystery remains.
