9CT GOLD ROUND CHECKERBOARD CUT MOONSTONE, BLUE TOPAZ & BLUE CHALCEDONY STATION NECKLACE

Behold, the solid Yellow Gold Moonstone, Blue Topaz and Blue Chalcedony necklace, a piece that channels antique charm and flaunts multiple beautiful gemstones with a checkerboard cut that's all sorts of mesmerising. Handmade from scratch to finish, this necklace sits gracefully on a dainty 9ct Yellow Gold chain, in a choice of 18, 20 or 26 inches in length. Little faceted Gold balls are interspersed with gorgeous natural gemstones. It's the kind of necklace that'll make your heart skip a beat, perfect for gifting someone special, or yourself – because you're worth it, darling!

You've got options here, loves. There are pairs of matching stud or drop earrings and even a bracelet and pendant necklace waiting in the wings. And if you fancy a different gemstone vibe, I've got Amethyst, Prasiolite, and Labradorite in the same design.

Since 2008, I've witnessed a station necklace resurgence, thanks to the growing love affair with layered necklaces. Today, the station necklace is hotter than ever. It's not just an accessory; it's a bold fashion statement in its own right, often seen as the centrepiece of layered necklaces.

Every piece of this treasure trove ships in a branded gift box, just waiting to delight its destined wearer.

Let's dive into the fascinating world of gemstones, where cutting Moonstones is all about that high-domed cabochon style to really make that adularescence pop. When it comes to faceting, only the crème de la crème gets that treatment. And when you see a four-legged star in Moonstone, know that you've stumbled upon a rare beauty. Now, here's a little tidbit: if you spot a reddish hue, you can bet that sneaky goethite (yup, iron oxide) inclusions are behind it.

Ah, the stunning November birthstone. But you know what, Topaz's dazzling brilliance and crystal clarity make it a stellar gift for any occasion. Now, let's talk about blue, shall we? Once upon a time, blue was like a rare unicorn in the world of Topaz. But hold onto your hats, because thanks to some nifty colour treatments, we've got not one, not two, but three breathtaking shades of Blue Topaz: Sky Blue, Swiss Blue, and London Blue.

These beauties we're talking about here, they're the Sky Blue kind, the lightest of the bunch, with a tone that's a cool 20 to 30%. And let me tell you, when they've got that fantastic clarity going on, they can give Aquamarine a run for its money in the looks department.

Now, let's dive into Chalcedony. It's got quite the historical street cred, you know? Dating back to the 7th century BC, it was all the rage in Mesopotamia, where folks used it to craft cylindrical seals. Fast forward a bit, and you'll find it making stunning cameos and taking the stage in commesso, a nifty technique that fashions vivid pictures with slices of colourful gemstones. Florence, Italy, during the Renaissance era, couldn't get enough of this stuff.

But, and here's the kicker, Chalcedony isn't a single gem name; it's more of a species name. It comes in a variety of shades, like Blue Chalcedony, which sports a soft, greyish-blue hue. Then there's Pink Chalcedony, giving you a milky Rose Quartz vibe rather than a vibrant pink Sapphire look. And don't forget Green Chalcedony, gracing you with a lovely pastel shade.

Here's the real kicker, though. This enchanting stone has some serious cred in the metaphysical world. They say it can banish dread, calm hysterics, chase away melancholy, and even tackle mental illness. Plus, it's got a knack for reducing fevers and preventing the blues.

Now, as for where you'll find this gem - well, you've got a ticket to a global tour. Brazil, Madagascar, Sri Lanka - they've all got a piece of the Chalcedony pie. You'll typically spot it in volcanic and sedimentary rocks, just doing its thing and looking gorgeous.

Now let's get a bit artsy with it. Picture a chessboard, slightly rotated so one corner rests on a table, making those black and white squares more diamond-shaped. This cutting style is all about turning your gem into a little Christmas tree, with facets lighting up like twinkling holiday lights. They call it scintillation, and it's as captivating as it sounds.

Shipping: The Glamorous World of Parcel Patience

Alright, my fellow sparkle enthusiasts, let's talk dispatch and delivery. Picture this: I’m a one-woman powerhouse, working tirelessly to bring you the finest jewellery. I aim to dispatch your glittering goodies the same day (because I'm just that efficient). But here's the kicker—being a boutique operation, my stock is as limited as my patience for non-sparkly things. Most of my treasures are shipped from my legion of talented smiths and suppliers to me on order.

UK Domestic Shipping: Fast but Fashionably Late

For my lovely UK-based customers, your sparkles will typically waltz their way to you in about 5-7 business days. Quick, but not quite instant gratification. I’m not Amazon! Think of it as joyous anticipation before the big reveal!

International Shipping: The Waiting Game

For my fabulous international friends, I need you to channel your inner zen master. Shipping times can vary wildly, anywhere from 5 to 30 business days. Why? Because customs clearance is a thing. Patience, darling. Good things (and sparkly ones) come to those who wait.

The delivery time cannot be guaranteed during the Holiday season, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and at high-demand times. Any further delay at the destination countries is beyond my control. Buyers are responsible for any duties, customs charges, or VAT taxes that may occur.

Out of Stock? Not Out of Luck!

If the piece you’ve fallen in love with is out of stock, don’t fret! It’s available for order with a lead time of 4-10 weeks, depending on which of my brilliant suppliers is crafting your new favourite accessory. Just drop me a line about your heart's desire, and I’ll do my absolute best to meet your needs.

So, there you have it. Whether you’re waiting a few days or a few weeks, remember: great things (and truly fabulous jewellery) take time. Now, who’s ready to add a bit of sparkle to their life?
