RHODIUM PLATED SILVER CUSHION CUT CUBIC ZIRCONIA HALO STUDS
Christine Alexander Fine Jewellery
Let’s talk cushion-cut Cubic Zirconia halo stud earrings — the little beauties that manage to announce elegance, discretion, glamour, and the faint smugness of someone who definitely didn't buy their jewellery out of a multipack in a discount shop.
These halo-style stud earrings are lovingly crafted from the finest 925 Sterling Silver and feature dazzling Cubic Zirconia stones so convincingly sparkly they’ve caused more identity crises in Diamonds than lab-grown ever did. The stones sit in a classic claw setting and YES — they’re Rhodium plated. Which, in case you’re not fluent in jewellery geekery, means they are coated in a precious white metal that costs eight times more than pure Gold, and four times more than Platinum — because apparently, Rhodium is the Beyoncé of metals and demands respect, a spotlight, and dry-clean only.
Why Rhodium? Well, it gives these stunners a whiter-than-white glow, stops the Silver from tarnishing, and has the added benefit of making you look like the kind of person who knows what “illusion setting” means without having Googled it on the train.
Perfect for weddings, parties, work events, awkward family reunions, and anywhere you want people to think you’ve got a safety deposit box and maybe a share portfolio. They’re also available in a delicious champagne tone, because some of us like our jewellery like we like our Friday nights — sparkling and slightly tipsy.
Matching rings and necklaces are also available, because coordinated jewellery is the closest most of us get to having our lives together.
All pieces come beautifully packaged in a fully recycled jewellery box and are sent via Royal Mail signed for — because this level of glamour does NOT simply ‘pop through the letterbox’.
⚠ A Quick Public Service Announcement
To keep your Rhodium plating looking immaculate, avoid wearing your jewellery in water — especially when swimming. Chlorine hates sparkle. Yes, the chlorine in tap water. I know. Outrageous behaviour. But don’t worry — replating is simple, just like me deciding to re-enter the world after a three-day Netflix coma.
