9CT WHITE GOLD CUSHION CUT LONDON BLUE TOPAZ & DIAMOND RING
Christine Alexander Fine Jewellery
Some rings whisper. This one sings power ballads. Crafted in 9ct White Gold and set with a gloriously deep London Blue Topaz (9x7mm — not shy, bless it), surrounded by a halo of 26 tiny Diamonds, this isn’t a ring that sits demurely and waits to be noticed. It knows it’s the main character — and frankly, so should you.
Handmade in Hatton Garden, the hallowed ground of British jewellery, this piece is the lovechild of craftsmanship and audacity. The Topaz is a colour that deserves a sonnet — that smoky, inky, moody kind of blue that could be described as “midnight sky after one too many martinis.” The halo of Diamonds? That’s just the jewellery equivalent of a wind machine — pure drama, pure light, pure joy.
Available in UK sizes J–Q, because fingers, like people, come in all shapes and deserve equal access to glamour. If your size isn’t listed, message me — miracles are practically my side hustle.
💎 About the Gemstone: London Blue Topaz
Topaz is November’s birthstone, but honestly, it’s so devastatingly gorgeous that it’s wasted on just one month. Once upon a time, blue Topaz was rare — now we have three shades to enjoy: Sky Blue, Swiss Blue, and London Blue, the latter being the dark, sophisticated older sister who’s been to art school, wears good perfume, and definitely has opinions on Tolstoy.
The gem has long been linked to romance, endurance and beauty — basically, everything you’d want from both a partner and a piece of jewellery.
🤍 The Metal: 9ct White Gold
White Gold is essentially Gold that’s had a makeover — think of it as the “cool-toned” version of Yellow Gold, brought to you by a blend of metals (usually Palladium or Silver). I source mine from within the EU, where the mix is the skin-friendly kind.
Every new White Gold piece is finished with Rhodium plating for that bright, mirror-shiny finish. A word to the wise: chlorine is the enemy of rhodium. So if you’re a keen swimmer, remove your ring before taking the plunge, unless you enjoy watching your jewellery age faster than a government minister under pressure.
Re-plating is simple, affordable, and keeps your ring looking perpetually like “the day it arrived.”

Ah, yes, the logistics of loveliness. I’m a one-woman powerhouse — designing, polishing, wrapping, posting, and drinking the occasional cup of tea. I aim to dispatch the same day where possible, but as many of my pieces are made to order, please allow a little grace for the postie.
UK: 5–7 business days (depending on stock).
International: 5–30 business days (depending on how customs feel that week).
Holiday chaos, Black Friday and international red tape can add delays, but remember — good sparkle takes time. Duties and taxes are the buyer’s responsibility, but I promise, the moment you open the box, you’ll forget all about them.
This is not just a ring — it’s an event. A glittering, deep-blue moment of glory, built to make your hand look like it just stepped out of a Vogue shoot. Because life’s too short for dull jewellery.
