9CT WHITE GOLD THREE STONE CUBIC ZIRCONIA SET TOE RING
Christine Alexander Fine Jewellery
Let me introduce you to the tiniest overachiever in your jewellery collection.
Three gloriously sparkly round brilliant Cubic Zirconia stones, each nestled into smooth rub-over settings, sitting proudly atop a beautifully crafted 9ct White Gold adjustable toe ring. It's elegant, luxurious and just the right amount of "Oh, this? I just casually wear White Gold on my toes."
Because why should fingers have all the fun?
Handmade in London's famous Hatton Garden, this isn't some flimsy little afterthought destined to disappear into the depths of your beach bag. It's a beautifully substantial 1.4g piece of genuine, fully UK Hallmarked 9ct White Gold that catches the light from every angle and somehow manages to make flip-flops look positively sophisticated.
The open design means it's comfortably adjustable to fit most toes, although if you're feeling rebellious, it also makes a wonderfully unusual midi ring.
Naturally, every piece arrives beautifully gift-boxed. Whether it's for someone you adore or because you've decided you're perfectly capable of buying your own fabulous jewellery (a philosophy I wholeheartedly support), it'll arrive ready to delight.
This design is also available in 9ct Yellow Gold if warmer tones are more your thing.
Why I Love Cubic Zirconia
Don't get me wrong — I adore Diamonds.
But Cubic Zirconia deserves far more respect than it often gets.
Modern, high-quality Cubic Zirconia offers exceptional brilliance, remarkable clarity and enough sparkle to make people do that subtle little double-take. It's laboratory-created, ethically produced and allows you to enjoy luxurious-looking jewellery without requiring the budget of a small European principality.
Unlike Diamonds, Cubic Zirconia has slightly softer facet edges, which gives it its own distinctive appearance. It is usually completely colourless, equivalent to the finest "D" colour Diamonds, and while Diamond testers use thermal conductivity to distinguish between the two, your friends at brunch almost certainly won't.
In short? It's beautiful. It's practical. It sparkles like mad. I'm entirely here for it.
Why White Gold Looks So Bright
Pure Gold is naturally yellow. White Gold is created by alloying Gold with naturally pale metals such as Palladium or Silver, producing its elegant silvery appearance.
To achieve that crisp, icy-white finish everyone loves, virtually all new White Gold jewellery is coated with a fine layer of Rhodium — one of the world's rarest and most valuable precious metals. Rhodium belongs to the Platinum family and is incredibly hard, giving White Gold its brilliant mirror-like shine while adding extra protection against everyday wear.
Like all plating, Rhodium isn't permanent. Over time, particularly with frequent exposure to water, chlorine, perfumes or cleaning products, the coating will gradually wear. The good news? Re-plating is straightforward and inexpensive, restoring your jewellery to its original bright white finish.
To keep your toe ring looking fabulous for as long as possible, I recommend:
• Remove it before swimming, bathing or showering.
• Avoid prolonged contact with chlorinated water and household chemicals.
• Store it separately from harder gemstones to prevent scratching.
• Clean gently with a soft jewellery cloth.
A little care goes a very long way.
Why Toe Rings Never Go Out of Style
Toe rings have been worn for centuries across many cultures.
In India, they traditionally symbolise marriage and are known as bichiyas, while in Tamil culture, both men and women have long worn simpler styles for comfort. In the West, they became fashionable during the 1970s and have remained a favourite for anyone who believes summer jewellery shouldn't stop at the ankle.
Because frankly, if you've gone to the trouble of getting a pedicure, your toes deserve jewellery too.
Yes, darlings, I dispatch as soon as my little hands can package your treasure — but remember, I'm a boutique, not Bezos.
If I have your piece to hand, it will be dispatched the same day, but the vast majority comes to me first from my wondrous Goldsmiths on order.
