SILVER 15.2MM DIAMOND CUT CURB CHAIN
Christine Alexander Fine Jewellery
There comes a point in every person's life when they realise that dressing well isn't about owning more things.
It's about owning better things.
A beautifully cut coat.
Proper leather boots.
A watch that doesn't beep.
And a solid Sterling Silver curb chain that quietly suggests you've reached the age where your biggest life crisis is choosing between Rioja and Malbec rather than deciding which nightclub has the cheapest shots.
This is that chain.
British-made from solid Sterling Silver, this substantial curb necklace is the jewellery equivalent of a beautifully tailored suit. It doesn't shout. It doesn't try too hard. It simply sits there looking quietly magnificent while everyone assumes you've got your life spectacularly together.
(You don't actually have to, by the way. Jewellery is wonderfully forgiving.)
Available in 24-inch (202.3g) and 26-inch (220.7g) lengths, this classic curb chain looks equally at home worn on its own or paired with a favourite pendant, dog tag, St Christopher, lock or charm. It layers beautifully too, if you're embracing your inner rock star—or simply can't decide which chain to wear.
Finished with a sturdy lobster clasp and fully hallmarked, it's built to be worn every day and admired for decades.
This isn't fast fashion.
It's future heirloom territory.
The Chain That Never Left Fashion
The wonderful thing about the curb chain is that it has absolutely no interest in trends.
While the rest of fashion has spent the past fifty years reinventing itself every six months, the curb chain has quietly remained... exactly where it belongs.
Originally inspired by the flattened links used in horse bridles centuries ago, jewellers soon realised that practicality could also be beautiful. The result was one of the most enduring jewellery designs ever created.
Royalty has worn it.
Rock stars have worn it.
Builders have worn it.
Bankers have worn it.
Your grandad probably wore one.
Your grandson probably will too.
Very few pieces of jewellery manage to cross generations, cultures and fashions quite so effortlessly.
Why Sterling Silver?
Because some things simply don't need improving.
Sterling Silver has been treasured for centuries for its strength, beautiful bright finish and timeless appeal. It develops character as it's worn, becoming yours uniquely over time.
Unlike plated jewellery, solid Sterling Silver can be professionally polished, restored and loved for decades.
Possibly centuries, if your descendants behave themselves.
Built in Britain
Every chain is proudly British-made, fully hallmarked and crafted to exceptional standards.
It's the sort of jewellery that feels reassuringly substantial in your hand, clicks satisfyingly closed around your neck and instantly becomes part of your everyday uniform.
The best jewellery doesn't wear you.
You wear it.
Caring for Your Sterling Silver
A little attention will keep your chain looking every bit as handsome as the day it arrives.
• Polish occasionally with a Silver polishing cloth to restore its natural shine.
• Remove before swimming, particularly in chlorinated pools, as chlorine can tarnish Silver.
• Avoid direct contact with perfumes, aftershaves and harsh household chemicals.
• Store separately in a jewellery box or soft pouch to minimise scratches.
Wear it often—the natural oils from your skin actually help slow tarnishing.
Who knew laziness could be jewellery maintenance?
Yes, darlings, I dispatch as soon as my little hands can package your treasure — but remember, I'm a boutique, not Bezos. If I have your piece to hand, it will be dispatched the same day, but the vast majority comes to me first from my wondrous Silver and Goldsmiths on order.
