Ah, the Silver and Haematite ring. It's the perfect accessory for those who want to add a touch of sophistication to their look. But this isn't just any ordinary ring. This is a piece of history that you can wear on your finger.

Haematite has been used for centuries for its grounding and calming properties. It's also believed to have healing powers, making it a popular choice in ancient times. The Greeks even associated Haematite with the god of war, Ares, as they believed it would protect soldiers in battle.

And when it comes to Silver, well, let's just say that it's been a precious metal for as long as humans have been able to mine it. From the ancient Egyptians to medieval knights, Silver has always been associated with wealth and prestige.

So when you combine these two materials into one stunning ring, you're getting a piece of history that's both beautiful and meaningful. This isn't just some cheap trinket you picked up at the market. This is a statement piece that tells the world that you appreciate the finer things in life. It is very rare to find faceted haematite, it is usually cut en cabochon or carved into intaglios for signet rings.

This is a substantial, chunky half-eternity-style ring. It is currently a UK size P.5 and could be sized a few sizes each way. It contains marquise and round faceted black Haematite, which has enough lustre that I have been asked twice if they are black Diamonds. The ring has a wide setting, at 23mm across. The shank is 4.04mm wide at the rear, 1.5mm thick, and a smidge under 6mm wide at the setting.

Whether you're dressing up for a fancy event setting, or just want to add some flair to your everyday look, this piece is a perfect choice. And with its timeless design, you'll be able to wear it for years to come.

So why settle for an ordinary ring when you can have a piece of history on your finger? Order today and experience the elegance and sophistication that comes with owning a true work of art.

Hematite derives its name from the Greek word haema for blood. While popular in antiquity as a protection against bleeding during the Egyptian era hematite was carved as seals for rings, as cameos for rings brooches and pendants, and for beads. Hematite continues to be popular today carved as intaglios for rings and strung as beads.
