18CT WHITE GOLD FINE 1.16ct DIAMOND HOOPS
Christine Alexander Fine Jewellery
Some jewellery whispers luxury.
These don't whisper.
They glide elegantly into the room, catch every conceivable glimmer of light, and have people subtly wondering whether you've just inherited an estate in the Cotswolds or simply possess exceptionally good taste.
Allow me to introduce these breathtaking 18ct White Gold Diamond demi-hoop earrings—a masterclass in timeless elegance, effortless glamour, and the sort of sparkle that makes even supermarket lighting look flattering.
Crafted in luxurious 18ct White Gold, these beautifully made demi-hoops are adorned with fiery G colour, SI1 clarity Diamonds, expertly cut-down set across both the front outer curve and the back inner hemisphere. In plain English? They sparkle from every angle, whether you're sipping champagne at a gala or buying milk while looking inexplicably fabulous.
With an impressive 1.1ct total Diamond weight, a reassuringly luxurious 8.8g in weight and measuring an elegant 40mm in diameter, these earrings strike the perfect balance between statement and sophistication.
Secure scroll butterfly fastenings keep them comfortably in place, making them ideal for everyday wear. Pop them in once and forget about them—until someone inevitably compliments them.
They're also available in 18ct Yellow Gold and 18ct Rose Gold, but there's something undeniably special about White Gold. It's crisp. Contemporary. Understated. The jewellery equivalent of someone who never needs to raise their voice because everyone is already listening.
And yes—I offer easy layaway, because exceptional jewellery shouldn't require exceptional financial gymnastics. Simply send me a message, and we'll work out a payment plan together.
A Little Diamond Magic...
We often think of Diamonds as ancient.
The reality is almost impossible to comprehend.
By analysing microscopic inclusions within them, scientists have discovered that many Diamonds formed between one and three-and-a-half billion years ago. That's before dinosaurs, before flowers, before mammals... before anyone thought low-rise jeans were a sensible life choice.
Even more astonishingly, Diamonds aren't especially rare in the universe.
Scientists believe tiny Diamonds naturally form in the icy vacuum of space, while enormous quantities may literally fall as Diamond rain deep within the atmospheres of Uranus and Neptune. Some researchers even suggest the earliest Diamonds formed inside ancient stars, making them among the first minerals ever to exist.
So yes...
Your earrings contain a material that's older than Earth itself.
No pressure.
Hoop Earrings: Four Thousand Years of Looking Fabulous
Every so often, the fashion world announces that hoop earrings are making a comeback.
Which is rather like announcing the moon has decided to make another appearance.
Hoops have been worn continuously for over 4,000 years, appearing in the Bronze Age, among the magnificent Minoan civilisation, and throughout ancient Nubia, now modern-day Sudan. Crafted from Gold, Silver and Bronze, they've adorned queens, artists, musicians, rebels and style icons ever since.
By the twentieth century, legends such as Cher and Diana Ross made hoops synonymous with effortless glamour, while later generations embraced them as symbols of individuality and confidence.
Perhaps their enduring popularity lies in their shape.
The circle has no beginning and no end.
It represents eternity.
Which feels entirely appropriate for a pair of Diamond earrings you'll never tire of wearing.
Caring for Your White Gold
A little love goes a long way.
Your 18ct White Gold earrings are designed to be worn and enjoyed every day, but like all fine jewellery, they'll appreciate a little care in return.
• Store them separately in a soft jewellery pouch or lined box to prevent scratches.
• Avoid exposing them to chlorine, bleach, harsh household cleaners, perfumes and hairsprays, as these can dull both the White Gold and your beautiful Diamonds.
• Over time, White Gold may naturally lose a little of its bright white finish as the Rhodium plating wears with everyday use. This is perfectly normal and simply means it's time for a professional re-Rhodium plating to restore that fresh-from-the-jeweller brilliance.
Treat them well, and they'll reward you with a lifetime of sparkle.
Yes, darlings, I dispatch as soon as my little hands can package your treasure — but remember, I'm a boutique, not Bezos. If I have your piece to hand it will be dispatched the same day, but the vast majority comes to me first from my wondrous Silver and Goldsmiths on order.
