9CT GOLD 18" PAPERCLIP LINK NECKLACE

Whoever looked at a paperclip and thought, "Do you know what this needs? To be made from glorious 9ct Gold and worn around someone's neck?" deserves some sort of fashion knighthood.

This beautifully crafted 9ct Yellow Gold paperclip link chain necklace somehow manages to be both bold and effortlessly elegant at the same time. One minute it's quietly elevating a white T-shirt and jeans; the next it's making a little black dress look as though you've accidentally wandered out of a luxury boutique with suspiciously good taste.

At 18 inches long, weighing a satisfying 8.7 grams, and featuring beautifully elongated 5.5mm paperclip links, this necklace has just enough presence to make people ask, "Where did you get that?" without screaming, "LOOK AT MY NECK!" There's a difference.

Finished with a wonderfully chunky jumbo lobster clasp, fully hallmarked for 9ct Gold, it's designed to become one of those forever pieces you'll reach for almost daily.

Wear it exactly as it is for that modern minimalist look, or add your favourite pendant and make it entirely your own. Honestly? It looks fabulous either way.

More than just a fashionable chain...

Paperclip jewellery may be one of today's hottest trends, but the humble paperclip has quite an extraordinary history.

During the Second World War, students in occupied Norway began wearing paperclips on their lapels as a quiet act of resistance against Nazi occupation. The paperclip symbolised unity, resilience and people standing together in the face of oppression. Eventually, the Germans recognised its meaning, and simply wearing a paperclip became a criminal offence.

Remarkably, something designed to hold pieces of paper together became a symbol of courage. Today, the paperclip link has evolved into one of jewellery's most coveted designs—clean, contemporary and endlessly wearable—but it still carries a subtle reminder that even the simplest objects can have extraordinary stories.
