GOLD VERMEIL DEMI HOOPS WITH DISC CHARM

I present a pair of Gold Vermeil demi-hoops. They come with a tiny and delicate round disc charm attached, which dangle to catch and reflect the light. They are made of Sterling Silver and coated in 22ct Gold, both for the anti-tarnish & hypoallergenic properties and that bright Yellow Gold look. 

The demi-hoops are 16mm in diameter; with the disc, the full length of the earring is 25mm.

Also available in Rhodium-plated Sterling Silver, and with a little star charm in either finish.

Vermeil is the name given to Gold-plated Silver.  Depending on how the jewellery is cared for and what chemicals and elements it comes in contact with, Vermeil should retain its golden look for  0several years. However, over time, as with all plating, eventually the coating will begin to wear and the Silver underneath will be seen. Although you will be left with what is still a precious metal item, if you wish to preserve the plating, avoid household detergents, particularly chlorine which can be present in tap water; remove your jewellery before swimming, bathing or showering. It is a simple matter to have items re-plated.
