ROSE GOLD VERMEIL SHELL DESIGN PEARL & CUBIC ZIRCONIA STUDS

We just can't get enough of these striking Sterling Silver earrings! They are the ultimate pair of Pearl earrings and an absolute must-have for any marine jewellery lover.

A dozen bright Cubic Zirconia stones lead the gaze down to the Pearl glowing and held securely in place by the Rose Gold plated Silver mollusc, reminiscent of organic forms. It perfectly captures the marine influences recently prevalent in jewellery fashion.

Wonderfully wearable at 4.5g, making these awesome stud earrings an absolute pleasure to carry off, whether it be a special occasion or you just love to wear outstanding jewellery every day of the week; in which case you are most welcome here.

Available in pendant form also, and with a coating of both Rhodium and Yellow Gold Vermeil, making these superbly versatile and wearable with whichever is your favourite precious metal of the day.

All gemstones can be damaged through wear and tear. Make sure you check for loose stones or damaged claws periodically. Always take your jewellery off whenever you are doing activities that might cause damage. Remember that household cleaners and chlorine in swimming pools can damage gold and many gems.

Different gemstones need different care – remember that many jewellery cleaning products can harm softer, porous or organic gems. If in doubt, a soft moist cloth is suitable for cleaning any gem.

Heat can play a factor too, so be aware of storing items too close to radiators – Pearl, Opal and Morganite are all susceptible to sudden changes in temperature.

Cultured freshwater pearls are pearls that are farmed and created using freshwater mussels. These pearls are produced in Japan and the United States on a limited scale but are now almost exclusively produced in China.

Vermeil is the name given to Gold-plated Silver.  Depending on how the jewellery is cared for and what chemicals and elements it comes in contact with, Vermeil should retain its golden look for several years. However, over time, as with all plating, eventually the coating will begin to wear and the Silver underneath will be seen. Although you will be left with what is still a precious metal item, if you wish to preserve the plating, avoid household detergents, particularly chlorine which can be present in tap water; remove your jewellery before swimming, bathing or showering. It is a simple matter to have items re-plated.
