To create White Gold, Gold is alloyed with naturally pale metals such as Palladium or Silver. The finished jewellery is then coated with an ultra-thin layer of Rhodium, one of the world's rarest precious metals.

Rhodium gives White Gold its crisp, mirror-like finish while adding extra protection against everyday wear.

Like all plating, however, it gradually wears over time — particularly if exposed regularly to chlorine, perfumes, cosmetics or household chemicals. Fortunately, professional Rhodium re-plating is quick, affordable and restores your jewellery to its original bright white brilliance.
