Our man JP Morgan (yes, that JP Morgan) was so taken with this peachy beauty that it was named in his honour, courtesy of gemologist George Kunz. Morganite’s value grows with the richness of its colour—leaning towards a warm, orangey pink rather than the cooler blue-pink of its gemstone cousin, Kunzite.
