9CT GOLD 3MM ROUND BELCHER CHAIN

The classic; a belcher chain link is wider than its thickness. These links are round, and 3mm in diameter. Oval belchers are also available.

Gold artefacts made their first appearance at the very beginning of the pre-dynastic period in Egypt, at the end of the fifth millennium BC and the start of the fourth; smelting was developed during the course of the 4th millennium, according to C.H.V. Sutherland’s book, Gold. As of 1990, Gold artefacts found at the Nahal Qana cave cemetery of the 4th millennium BC were the earliest from the Levant.
