A Very Important Little Ear Warning

Please check the measurements carefully before purchasing. With an 8mm internal diameter, these are genuinely tiny huggie hoops and may not be suitable for thicker earlobes or certain piercing placements. They are intended to sit snugly, rather than hang freely like a traditional larger hoop.

Please make sure that the measurements will be suitable for your intended piercing before purchasing, as I am unable to offer refunds or exchanges on pierced jewellery for hygiene reasons. I would much rather you measure first and discover that your ears are unsuitable than buy them optimistically and discover that your earlobes have staged a coup.

Jewellery Care – Looking After Your White Gold

White Gold deserves a little love, particularly if you want to keep that lovely bright finish looking its best. I recommend removing your earrings before bathing, showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping, and keeping them away from perfume, hairspray, creams, cosmetics and household cleaning products. When you are not wearing them, store your White Gold jewellery somewhere clean and dry, ideally separately from other pieces so that they do not scratch against one another.

White Gold is often finished with a Rhodium plating to give it that bright, silvery-white appearance. With regular wear, this surface finish can naturally become less bright over time, particularly on areas that experience friction. This is completely normal and does not mean that there is anything wrong with the jewellery. If the finish eventually needs refreshing, a professional jeweller can clean and re-Rhodium plate the piece where appropriate.

For everyday cleaning, a soft jewellery polishing cloth and gentle handling are your friends. Please avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals and anything resembling an industrial cleaning regime. Your jewellery does not need a spa day involving bleach and a power tool.
