RHODIUM PLATED SILVER PEAR CUT BLUE CUBIC ZIRCONIA HALO STUDS

It’s not every day I come across royal blue jewellery that looks like it should be guarded by a palace footman, but here we are. These spectacular pear-cut royal blue stud earrings are proof that you can have grandeur, drama and “oh-blimey-are-those-real?” sparkle — without remortgaging the house.

The beautifully curved facets and open-backed setting work together like a tiny light show, flashing rich Sapphire blues, inky midnight tones and flashes of electric cobalt with the slightest turn of your head. They’re mesmerising. Hypnotic, even. The sort of earrings that make people stop mid-sentence. The Rhodium-plated Sterling Silver setting keeps everything cool and crisp, while a halo of tiny clear stones frames the centre beautifully, adding just enough antique-style glamour to feel heirloom-adjacent.

These are utterly perfect for work when you want to look composed, capable and faintly aristocratic — or for evenings out when you’re leaning into drama with a capital D. The secure butterfly backs keep them firmly in place all day and well into the night, because elegance should never involve crawling around under tables looking for a missing earring.

They’re also available with green, clear, red and fine champagne centre stones, and yes — there’s a matching ring and pendant if you fancy committing fully to the look.

A gentle word on care (because even divas need maintenance):
All gemstones can suffer from everyday wear, so do check occasionally for loose stones or tired claws. Always remove your jewellery before doing anything remotely energetic, chemical or aquatic. Chlorine and household cleaners are the sworn enemies of sparkle. When in doubt, a soft, slightly damp cloth is the safest way to clean any gemstone.

As for the metal magic: Rhodium is a precious white metal from the Platinum family and costs eight times more than pure Gold (and a frankly scandalous 23 times more than 9ct Gold). It’s hard, scratch-resistant, brilliantly white and used to plate Silver to prevent tarnish and enhance shine. Think of it as jewellery’s best lighting and best skincare combined.

I adore antique-cut Diamonds — their charm, their glow, their romance. Their price tags, however, are less lovable. Why wait for the jewels we’ll have “one day” when you can wear something just as beautiful right now? Honestly, why not?
