Jewellery Care – Keep Your Silver Looking Gorgeous
Sterling Silver naturally tarnishes over time when exposed to air, moisture and chemicals. This is perfectly normal and isn't a sign that anything is wrong with your necklace.
To keep your Sterling Silver curb chain looking its best, I recommend removing it before swimming, bathing, showering and exercising where practical.
Perfume, hairspray, creams, chlorine and household cleaning products are also best kept away from your jewellery.
When you're not wearing it, store it somewhere dry, preferably in a jewellery pouch or box, and avoid throwing it into a drawer with twenty other chains unless you particularly enjoy spending Tuesday evening attempting to separate what has effectively become a tiny Silver fishing net.
A soft Silver polishing cloth can be used to restore the shine if tarnishing occurs.
