My newest acquisitions; these elegant-looking Sterling Silver stud earrings which are a perfect addition to any woman's wardrobe. Tension-set with Cubic Zirconia stones, they give an elegant look. Available in four diameters.

A slight variation of colour may occur in photographs due to lighting.

Cubic Zirconia (CZ) is the cubic crystalline form of zirconium dioxide (ZrO2).  It should not be confused with Zircon, which is a zirconium silicate(ZrSiO4) and a natural gemstone. Because of its low cost, durability, and close visual likeness to Diamond, synthetic Cubic Zirconia has remained the most gemologically and economically important competitor for Diamonds since commercial production began in 1976.

Other than in currency and as an investment medium (coins and bullion), Silver is used in solar panels, water filtration, jewellery, ornaments, high-value tableware and utensils (hence the term Silverware), in electrical contacts and conductors, in specialized mirrors, window coatings, in catalysis of chemical reactions, as a colorant in stained glass and in specialised confectionery.  Dilute solutions of Silver nitrate and other Silver compounds are used as disinfectants and microbicides (oligodynamic effect), added to bandages and wound dressings, catheters, and other medical instruments.

Sterling Silver Jewellery pieces that are not worn for extended periods of time can corrode and tarnish as well. You must ensure that your jewellery is clean and dry before storage; since any moisture, dirt, oils or other residual chemicals will accelerate the tarnishing. Clean your Silver after wearing with warm water and dry with a soft cloth, and store Silver items in an airtight container with a piece of chalk or a silica pack; the little bags you find in shoe boxes etc.
