SILVER ECHO ASYMMETRIC FLUTED BEAD NECKLACE

Oh, I do love a piece of jewellery that refuses to behave itself quite properly. Enter this rather gorgeous asymmetric Sterling Silver fluted bead necklace from my Echo collection – a beautifully handmade design with just enough quirkiness to make people wonder where you found it, without looking as though you made it yourself during a particularly ambitious evening with a pair of pliers.

The design combines a Silver round belcher chain with evenly spaced Sterling Silver oval fluted beads, creating a lovely rhythm around the neckline. And then, because symmetry is apparently terribly overrated, there are two beads together at one point, giving the necklace its distinctive asymmetric detail.

It’s subtle. It’s interesting. It’s beautifully made. Basically, it has the jewellery equivalent of excellent cheekbones.

Choose Your Perfect Length

One of the things I particularly love about this necklace is that you aren't forced into somebody else's idea of where a necklace should sit.

You can choose any length from 16 to 30 inches (approximately 40–75cm), so whether you prefer something sitting neatly around the collarbone or a longer necklace with a little more presence, you can have it made to suit you.

This is part of my Echo collection, and these pieces are handmade, so if your chosen necklace is showing as out of stock, don't panic and assume the jewellery gods have personally intervened.

Why I Love Sterling Silver

Silver has been making humans look considerably more fabulous for thousands of years, and frankly, I see no reason for that tradition to stop now.

Sterling Silver is a wonderfully versatile precious metal: elegant enough for occasion jewellery, but perfectly at home in everyday pieces too. I particularly like it in designs such as this because the metal allows the shape, texture and craftsmanship to do the talking.

And the fluted oval beads add those little catches of light that make Silver jewellery so much more interesting when it moves.

Made to Be Treasured – Not Thrown in a Drawer

For storage, keep your Sterling Silver jewellery clean and completely dry before putting it away. Moisture, oils, dirt and residual chemicals can all encourage tarnishing. I recommend gently cleaning Silver after wearing with warm water, drying thoroughly with a soft cloth, and storing it somewhere airtight, ideally with a small piece of chalk or a silica gel sachet.

Basically: don't chuck it damp into the bottom of a handbag and expect miracles.

If I have your piece to hand, I'll dispatch it the same day, but the vast majority of my jewellery comes to me first from my wondrous Silver and Goldsmiths on order.

UK Shipping:
Expect your sparkles in 5–7 working days. Think of it as foreplay for the soul.

International Shipping:
Anywhere from 5 to 30 working days, depending on customs, the mood of your postal service, and whether Mercury is in retrograde.

UK orders are posted using Special Delivery, while overseas orders are sent using International Signed For.

Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

Please check with your local customs authority to determine any additional costs before buying if you are outside the UK. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight/shipping company or when you collect your parcel.
