18CT WHITE GOLD PRINCESS CUT DIAMOND RING
18CT WHITE GOLD PRINCESS CUT DIAMOND RING

Oh, HELLO, you rather spectacular thing. šŸ’Ž

If your heart has been whispering ā€œprincess-cut Diamond engagement ringā€ but your bank account has been responding with ā€œabsolutely not, calm downā€, I may have found the compromise.

This beautiful 18ct White Gold princess-cut Diamond ring gives you the clean, architectural sparkle of a princess-cut Diamond, but instead of one enormous solitary rock sitting there demanding its own postcode, you have four Diamonds arranged together in a gorgeous princess-cut diamond-shaped head.

And frankly? She is VERY pretty.

The four Diamonds are G colour and VS clarity, so you're getting lovely bright, icy-looking stones with excellent clarity. The result is fabulously sparkly, particularly when the light catches all four stones together.

The Diamonds are set into an 18ct White Gold head with a simple, polished shank, giving the ring that wonderfully classic engagement-ring silhouette without being fussy or overloaded with unnecessary frippery.

In other words: clean lines, serious sparkle and just enough glamour to make you stare at your own hand every seven minutes.

šŸ’Ž The Princess Cut

The princess cut is one of my favourite Diamond shapes because it manages to look both incredibly modern and beautifully classic.

With its square outline and crisp geometric lines, it has a very different personality from the traditional round brilliant Diamond. It looks particularly fabulous in White Gold, where the icy metal and bright Diamond work together to create that lovely cool, contemporary look.

And because these four Diamonds are arranged together to form the larger princess-cut shape, you get the visual impact of a much more substantial centre stone without having to buy one enormous princess-cut Diamond.

Clever, isn't it?

šŸ’ Available Carat Weights

You can choose from four total Diamond carat weights:

  • 0.25ct
  • 0.50ct
  • 0.75ct
  • 1.00ct

So whether you're looking for something beautifully understated or want considerably more HELLO, I'M ENGAGED sparkle, there is an option.

Available in UK ring sizes J–V.

The ring is fully Hallmarked for 18ct Gold, reassuring you of that official precious-metal hallmark.

An 18ct Yellow Gold version is also available on a separate listing if the warmer glow of Yellow Gold is more your cup of tea.

And if you're buying this as an engagement ring and wondering about valuation, I've got you covered: a free insurance valuation is included with your ring.

Your ring will arrive beautifully presented in a velvet ring box, because frankly, something this sparkly deserves an entrance.

✨ Why I Love It

For me, this is one of those rings that manages to look incredibly elegant without trying too hard.

The simple polished shank keeps everything clean and wearable, while the four princess-cut Diamonds do all the heavy lifting at the top.

It's a particularly lovely choice if you adore the idea of a princess-cut Diamond engagement ring, but a single large princess-cut stone is rather beyond the budget.

And with G colour and VS clarity Diamonds, you're certainly not making a compromise on sparkle.

You're simply being financially sensible.

Which is terribly grown-up.

Until you put it on and spend the rest of the afternoon admiring your hand.

šŸ’Ž Diamond Care

A little Diamond housekeeping, because even the hardest natural gemstone needs looking after.

Diamonds can scratch other gemstones and metalwork, so I recommend storing this ring separately in a soft pouch or in a jewellery box with individual compartments.

Keep it away from harder gemstones when possible, and avoid allowing your Diamonds to merrily bash into other pieces of jewellery in the jewellery box. They may be tiny, but Diamonds are extremely hard and can cause scratches.

And please don't throw all your jewellery into one drawer and hope for the best.

That is how jewellery arguments begin.

šŸ¤ Caring for 18ct White Gold

White Gold is an alloy of Gold mixed with one or more white metals, such as Palladium or Silver. White Gold jewellery is commonly finished with Rhodium plating, which gives it that beautiful bright, icy-white appearance.

To help preserve the Rhodium finish, I recommend avoiding swimming while wearing your ring, particularly in chlorinated water.

Chlorine can accelerate the deterioration of the Rhodium plating, and even ordinary tap water contains small amounts of chlorine, so it's best to avoid unnecessary exposure to water where possible.

Take your ring off before swimming, bathing, showering and doing anything involving large quantities of cleaning products.

And don't panic if, over time, the Rhodium finish becomes less bright. White Gold can be professionally re-plated, restoring that lovely bright-white finish.

šŸŽ Presentation & Insurance Valuation

Your 18ct White Gold Diamond ring will arrive in a velvet ring box and includes a free insurance valuation.

If you're buying this as an engagement ring, that valuation is particularly useful for your records and future insurance purposes.
