I do love jewellery that has a little something going on beneath the sparkle.

Yes, obviously, I want it to be pretty. I'm a jeweller, not a monk. But when a piece also carries centuries of symbolism, ideas of protection and a tiny Diamond flashing away at you, I'm very much interested.

This delicate Sterling Silver Hamsa ring does exactly that.

Featuring a beautifully detailed Hamsa hand, complete with a subtle evil eye centre and a sparkling 2mm Diamond, it's a lovely combination of meaningful symbolism and understated modern jewellery.

It's delicate enough for everyday wear, elegant enough to stand alone and slim enough to layer with your other rings without looking as though your fingers have started their own jewellery empire.

And I rather love that.

The Hamsa — Protection You Can Wear

The Hamsa hand, also known as the Khamsa, Hand of Miriam or Hand of Fatima, depending on cultural and religious context, is an ancient symbol associated with protection, happiness and good fortune.

The hand is traditionally associated with protection from the evil eye, a belief found across several cultures and religious traditions.

The eye incorporated into this particular design makes that symbolism especially clear, while the overall design remains beautifully subtle rather than shouting I HAVE A SYMBOL ON MY FINGER from across the room.

The Hamsa has also been used by people who see it as a symbol of peace, coexistence and hope for harmony between Jewish and Muslim communities.

So alongside its associations with protection and good luck, the Hamsa can carry a rather lovely message of peace and shared humanity.

That's quite a lot of meaning for a little 9mm hand.

💎 And Then There's the Diamond...

Because apparently protection alone wasn't enough.

We've added a sparkling 2mm Diamond weighing approximately 0.03ct.

Diamond has long had a reputation as one of the most desirable gemstones in jewellery, and its name ultimately derives from the ancient Greek adamas, meaning invincible or unconquerable.

Rather fitting for a Hamsa ring, really.

Diamond's extraordinary sparkle comes from its very high refractive index, which allows light to bounce around within the stone and return to the eye in that unmistakable flash.

Diamond quality is assessed using the familiar 4Cs — colour, clarity, cut and carat weight — although the exact value of a Diamond depends on the combination of those characteristics rather than simply its carat weight.

And with a little stone like this, it's all about that lovely flash of light when you move your hand.

🚚 SHIPPING

This particular piece is imported from the USA, so please allow a little extra time for it to make its transatlantic journey before it reaches you. ✈️🇺🇸

As I’m a small independent jewellery business and not, sadly, the international logistics division of Amazon, this piece is ordered from my US supplier especially for you.

UK Delivery:
Please allow approximately 4–6 weeks for delivery. This includes the time required for the piece to arrive with me from the USA, clear customs and then be dispatched to you.

I will keep you updated along the way where I can, but international shipping does occasionally involve the sort of thrilling administrative adventure normally reserved for people who enjoy watching paint dry.

Customs & Import Charges

If you are ordering from outside the UK, please message me before ordering so I can confirm the appropriate shipping arrangements and any relevant import considerations for your country.

Please note: Delivery times are estimates rather than guarantees, as customs clearance and international postage are outside my control.
